We become that which we pursue...

It happens no other way.

We are once getting closer to the end of another year and the beginning of another quest.  2016 will be upon us quickly and I want to encourage you to be courageous.  Head into 2016 with a fire in your belly for change.  Commit to simple day-to-day habit creations that will guide you to achieving all of your goals.  If your goal is to eat healthier and you have no idea where to start– drink more water (ideally your body weight divided by 2 in ounces),  wake up 20 minutes earlier and commit to walking for 10 minutes–every day.  The rule to remember when changing habits—Consistency trumps Intensity when starting.  Get used to the new habit by committing with a NO MATTER WHAT attitude.

Rollo May’s wisdom in The Courage to Create tells us:

“The acorn becomes an oak by means of automatic growth; no commitment is necessary.  The kitten similarly becomes a cat on the basis of instinct. Nature and being are identical in creatures like them. But a man or woman becomes fully human only by his or her choices and his or her commitment to them. People attain worth and dignity by the multitude of decisions they make from day by day. These decisions require courage.”

Choose a great life by committing to great choices—each and every day.
